Katherine Jenkins 'DWTS': Will Injury Mean Elimination?

The competition on this season of "Dancing with the Stars" has boiled down to the final four with Katherine Jenkins in jeopardy of elimination.

Last night's semi-finals saw the British singer fall to the floor during the salsa. Jenkins was in her second performance of the night when her professional dance partner Mark Ballas spun her around. She did a back bend, and as he was stepping over her, Jenkins lost control and fell. Although she was able to complete the dance routine, the classical singer was clearly in pain.

Cameras panned to the couple during the show when Ballas was seen comforting his partner as she winced in agony.

"I just felt my back go as I went back," said Jenkins to "DWTS" co-host Brooke Burke backstage after the performance.

Jenkins and her partner managed to earn high scores from the judge's panel, garnering 27 points.

"That was just fantastic," said "DWTS" judge Carrie Ann Inaba. "I'm sorry at the end, but I just love seeing you push your boundaries."

Although the pair managed to finish their dance number, Jenkins and Ballas are at the bottom of the scoreboard.

"I'm with the Doctor, he says it was a reflectorical spasm in my lower back," Jenkins posted on Twitter after the show.

Maria Menounos and her professional Derek Hough remain strong competitors on this season of "DWTS." The pair's two performances earned them a combined score of 59 points for the night.

William Levy and pro dancer Cheryl Burke are also still vying for season 14's Mirrorball trophy. The couple also earned a total score of 59 points Monday.

Lastly, Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd earned 58 points during Monday's dances. The remaining couples will face elimination during Tuesday's episode.

The results show Tuesday will reveal the votes of viewers this week and send one more couple home. "DWTS" airs on ABC at 9 p.m. EST.
