Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders Banned From Film Sequel
After news broke of Kristen Stewart's affair with Rupert Sanders, the "Snow White and the Huntsman" director's wife Liberty Ross has banned him from ever working with the 22-year-old actress on the film again.
Stewart portrayed the title character in the summer hit film, while Ross portrayed her mother, Queen Eleanor. According to reports this week, the raven-haired actress, 33, is already thinking about the anticipated sequel to "Snow White."
Ahead of the film's widespread success, Sanders was lined up to direct any sequel to "Snow White." In light of the affair, the British model allegedly told her husband that unless he wants a divorce he should not work with Stewart ever again.
"Liberty let it be known in no uncertain terms that Rupert can't direct the sequel to 'Snow White and the Huntsman,'" a source revealed, according to RadarOnline.com.
"They are trying to work things out after he was caught having an affair, and that is the one of the sticking points. She doesn't want him to ever work with Kristen again," the insider alleged.
Today, Universal Pictures has yet to offer Sanders an agreement to direct what could be another hit film and sequel to "Snow White."
"Rupert is obviously disappointed because [the movie] was his directorial debut, and he had hoped on building on that with a follow-up after some decent interviews," added the insider. "But he knows his actions were inexcusable, and he's going to have to bite the bullet and listen to his wife on this one."
Meanwhile, the scandal shocked fans, as Stewart was in a nearly 4-year relationship with her "Twilight" co-star Rob Pattinson.
Pattinson, 26, reportedly moved out of the Los Angeles home he shared with Stewart last week following her public apology for cheating on him.
Along with feeling "angry, hurt, and upset and sick and tired of people taking sides" following news of Stewart's cheating, as the Daily Star reported, Pattinson is embroiled in a bitter custody battle with the actress over their once-shared pet dog, Bear.
Additionally, another source close to the actors said Rob ignored Stewart's "tearful texts" and "multiple calls," but finally relented and the pair is now on speaking terms again, according to RadarOnline.
