Liberty Ross Gives Rupert Sanders 'Second Chance' After Kristen Stewart Affair

Rupert Sanders emerged in California still wearing his wedding ring despite recently admitting to having an affair with Kristen Stewart, and new reports suggest that his wife has agreed to give him a second chance.
Sanders, the 41-year-old director of Stewart's latest film "Snow White and the Huntsman," appeared to be in good spirits as he strolled through Los Angeles on Monday. Some critics believe that Liberty Ross, his wife of 10 years, decided to take him back, which has helped him cope with his guilt from cheating.
"Liberty has decided to give Rupert a second chance because of the kids," a source told HollywoodLife.com, adding that he has agreed to attend couple's counseling with Ross.

Sanders, who has two children with Ross, 33, willingly engaged in an affair with Stewart, 22, despite knowing that she was still involved with her boyfriend of over three years, Robert Pattinson.
While several sources claim that the affair lasted months, Sanders has not confirmed the duration of his cheating, although he did express his distress over the situation in a recent statement.
"I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together," Sanders said in a statement to Reuters.
Ross' decision to stay with Sanders comes just days after it was revealed that Stewart- who publicly apologized to Pattinson over the affair- wrote the model a letter seeking forgiveness.
"Kristen didn't feel it was appropriate to issue a public apology to Liberty once the story of her affair with Rupert broke. Instead, she's going to do the decent thing and write Liberty a private letter expressing her deepest regret for her actions," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.
"She was thinking of including Liberty, Rupert and the kids in her public apology – but Kristen was so desperate to save her relationship with Rob she decided to concentrate on that first. Kristen feels she made a terribly naive mistake and will do anything to make amends. The fact that Liberty and Rupert have two kids has now dawned on her and she feels awful for what she did," the insider added.
