Marc Anthony and Will Smith 'Good Friends' at Dolphins Game Despite Jada Affair Rumors

Marc Anthony and Will Smith remain good friends, and have been spotted at the Miami Dolphins game together Monday night in private box seats.

Also sitting with the celebrities in Miami’s Sun Life Stadium was Dwyane Wade, who told People magazine that Anthony and Smith had a genuine friendship.

Earlier this month, Anthony shot down toxic rumors about a relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith, saying that they were “laughable.”

“We were laughing, like ‘wow,’” said Anthony in an interview with ABC’s John Quinones. “We’ve been friends for years. Jada, Jennifer, me, him, for years…”

The camera showed the friends laughing and enjoying the game, despite the home team losing to the New England Patriots 38-24.

Anthony co-owns the Miami Dolphins, and TMZ reported that he reached out to Smith extending the invitation to the game and offering box seats.

“We’re giving them something to talk about!” Quipped Anthony, according to Us Weekly.

Smith will celebrate his 43rd birthday on Friday, and told reporters that his plans are uncertain.

“I haven’t decided yet, but I do have to sing that night [at an American Airlines Arena concert in Miami], and I’m really looking forward to it,” said Smith.

Also attending the football match were celebrities Fergie and her husband Josh Duhmel, as well as Taylor Lautner, who was signing autographs for fans.

After announcing the end of his marriage with Jennifer Lopez, Anthony told People, “I’m doing great, I really am.”

Lopez and Anthony’s seven-year relationship ended because it simply no longer “worked,” said the singer, and “absolutely not” because either party had been involved in an affair.

“It was a realization on both our parts. So, you know, it wasn’t really shocking. These things happen,” he said. “It was a decision that we made jointly.”

The 42-year-old singer told Quinones that he will “always love Jennifer,” and that he is “always going to be Daddy” to their twin children.
