Rihanna Talks Relationship With God
Rihanna, the 25-year-old chart-topping Barbadian singer, says that her faith in God helps her deal with the downside of fame.
The singer is the January cover girl of British GLAMOUR and spoke about how making God her priority has helped her regain her fearless attitude after being questioned about how she stopped fearing fame.
"...Remembering what's important in life and understanding that we are individuals with our own relationship to God," Rihanna told GLAMOUR. "When that's clear, it's difficult to be bothered by what people think."

Rihanna has given fans a glimpse of her spiritual beliefs by previously sharing biblical scriptures with an affinity for Christian author and speaker Joyce Meyer's teachings.
"Believing has a lot to do with obedience," the singer re-tweeted from Meyer last year. "If you really believe what God says, you'll do what He says."
The singer is an admitted fan of Meyer's, and even sent a message to the Christian speaker on Twitter last year.
"@JoyceMeyer you're awesome," Rihanna told the minister via Twitter.
Still, Rihanna's spiritual counselor in Barbados, Bishop Vibert Lowe, has called for the singer to return to church in the past after her public reconciliation with Chris Brown that is now defunct and high profile partying ways.
"A lot of people have been praying for her and hoping that she will drop these bad habits," Lowe told The Sun last year. "We feel it's wrong for her to behave like this."
Lowe, who said he has not seen much of the singer since she left her native country to pursue superstardom, suggested that Rihanna should return to church.
"I don't see her much when she comes back -- she seems too busy -- but she should spend more time in church," Lowe said.
However, Rihanna has previously insisted that she lives her life for God.
"I'm gonna look back on my life and say that I enjoyed it- and I lived it for me- and God," she previously told Esquire magazine.
