Singer Pink Dyes Hair for New Album (PHOTO)
Singer Pink is finally ready to make a new album, and she has dyed her hair to prove it.
The newly pink-haired singer is ready to start making music again after a 4-year hiatus during which she had her first child, Willow Sage.
"Okay the hair is the palest pink…. You know what that means!!!!!!!!!! NEW RECORD TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!" the singer-songwriter tweeted.

Pink's problem with creating new music had to do with a case of writer's block. She admitted in November of 2011 that she was having trouble creating the catchy pop and rock music she's known for, which caused a considerable delay in a new album.
However, new material was again delayed when her daughter, Willow Sage, started to become more of a handful. Before Willow was born, Pink promised fans she would immediately start touring, but that didn't happen.
"As soon as the baby can say 'mama' I'm going on the road! We are going to be a travelling family gypsy band with garlands in our hair," she told UKPA.
However, born June 2, 2011 to Pink and professional motocross racer Corey Hart, the little girl needed her mother's attention more and more.
"She stops crying when I sing," Pink told EOnline.com. "I sing 'You Are My Sunshine' and I make up songs for her because I'm goofy. [But] I promised my fans I wouldn't write an album full of lullabies."
Still, Pink seems inspired, and ready to go to work in the studio. "Let's get to making some tuuuunes. Looney tunes," the singer tweeted Feb. 29.
The album is rumored to be called As Time Goes By, according to reports. RCA Music Group confirmed Pink would be working on a new album October of last year, and that it would be released in 2012.
Pink's loyal fans have been waiting patiently for a new album since 2008, and reports reflect it. Pink was the fourth most-played artist of 2011 despite releasing only two new songs since 2010, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
Though Pink is a talented singer with over 40 million albums sold worldwide, she's also been acting since her solo debut in 2000. She will be seen in the film "Thanks for Sharing" later this year.
