"We’ve seen people today, fellow reporters crying, hugging in the [CNN] hallway," Reid said.
Reid went on to claim that her sources within both the Biden and Trump camps have reservations about Gaetz as attorney general.
"I have gotten text messages from sources, Trump administration, the Biden administration, no one is endorsing this," she said.
