Emmy Award Winners 2011: Stars Speak About Accomplishments
The 63rd Emmy Awards took place on Sunday and the big winners are adjusting to their new awards.
"Modern Family" dominated the Emmy awards with five wins, one for outstanding comedy series. Steve Levitan, co-creator of the series, said the cast and crew were extremely close and have a cause for celebration after the big win.
"Those over 21 will be drinking. We're just going to have a party and hang out together and have fun. We actually enjoy each other's company," Levitan said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Mad Men," won an Emmy for outstanding drama series on Sunday. Matthew Weiner, creator of the series, seemed to be shocked by both the nomination and win.
"I have not absorbed that yet," Weiner told reporters backstage at the award show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm a huge fan of TV and watched all those shows...it's hard to comprehend that we're in that company, it really is.
After winning outstanding actress in a miniseries or movie for her role in "Mildred Pierce," Kate Winslet expressed her passion and love for the craft.
"I came from a long line of actors who spend most of their lives largely out of work. I knew when I wanted to pursue this great dream I had, I probably wouldn't work very often," Winslet said, according to Hollywood Reporter. "I'm so grateful this is the one and only job I've had since I was a teenager. Winning an award like this today... it's really so wonderful. I can't even describe it."
When The Amazing Race was announced as outstanding reality competition series, executive producer Bertram van Munster, said he was shocked that the show received its 13th Emmy in seven years.
"It's very difficult to come back again," Munster said, "The Academy is so amazing at seeing hard work and talent and quality programming."
