Lindsay Lohan Shocked by Dead Bodies at Morgue Community Service
Lindsay Lohan showed up for her first day of community service at the morgue today where she had her first encounter with a dead body.
TMZ said according to their sources Lohan is on sheet washing duty, and was startled the first time she saw the linens soiled with blood and fluid stains.
She was also shocked at the first site of a dead body, and was moved to toilet duty.
All indications so far are that Lohan is doing well and cooperating as well as maintaining a positive attitude.
Lindsay's court problems have been documented very publicly and she is currently enthralled in problems right now.
Just one day after actress Lindsay Lohan had her probation revoked and she posted $100,000 bail, she missed her first day of community service at the L.A. County Morgue yesterday.
Lohan's publicist released a statement at that time that said, "Lindsay arrived at the morgue approximately 20 minutes late and will be returning for orientation tomorrow.”
“Her lateness was due to a combination of not knowing what entrance to go through and confusion caused by the media waiting for her arrival. Lindsay spoke with the supervisors at the morgue. They showed her how to get in and everything is all cleared up," she added.
Yesterday upon Lohan showing up, she was turned away from the morgue for being late.
The actress was supposed to be at the morgue at 8:00 a.m. PT, and at 7:40 a.m. PT her publicist called to say she'd be there in 10 minutes.
When Lohan never showed, the volunteer officials notified Judge Stephanie Sautner of her tardiness.
Lohan recently took to her Twitter and said, "With all of the stress and pressure from yesterday and today, I've never been so happy to go to therapy!!! Also, I'm sorry for the confusion that I may of (sic) caused to those at the Coroner's office. Won't happen again, now I know where to go!"
Lindsay Lohan's mom and manager, Dina, has written a book revealing the young star's drug and alcohol abuse, as she collapsed under the pressures of fame.
"I blamed her friends, her career and her handlers for an (sic) newfound lifestyle of partying excessively. Drinking, drugging and behaving irresponsibly became Lindsay's way of daily living--and it tore me up inside," it said.
The book also contained a section where Dina was remorseful for exposing her daughter to Hollywood at such a young age.
"How could I deny my daughter the chance of a lifetime? How could I hold Lindsay back from her dream of becoming an actress? So, I listened to others and sent my daughter to Hollywood with a few pieces of luggage and a chaperone," she said
.
TMZ reported that Dina and her reps were brainstorming on how to make the book a bestseller. Other sources told the website that a ghostwriter actually wrote the prologue.
