  AMC confirms cult comic 'Preacher' to turn into full TV series

  The latest one to hit the headlines is the "Preacher," an American television series adapted from the 1990 comic book series created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. Seth Rogen, co-creator of the show, announced via Twitter that AMC will pick up drama pilot "Preacher" to series after the success of its pilot episode. The series is going to be about a Texas preacher who loses faith in God. The main character, Jesse Custer, will be played by Dominic Cooper.
